Major Catch Up…

I feel so guilty that I have failed to update Sienna’s blog on a consistent basis. I’ve just been so busy to do a good job with this site. Anyhow, this isn’t an excuse. It’s very important to me to have this blog for myself and Sienna, so I made a promise to myself that this lagging cannot happen any longer. Especially since it will take forever to get it up to speed again. Luckily, I am taking this week of Thanksgiving off, so it’s my personal goal to have this completed and current by the end of the week. It’s currently 12:30am and my in my closet typing so that the tapping of the key strokes don’t wake up the beautiful Sweetpea. So please bear with me since these update posts won’t be in chronological order or as well written as I’d like since I’m writing in the wee hours of the night.

Here is a picture of Sienna that just took a few weeks back...And yes, her hair is longer and has a lot of curls. When I wash her hair, it's about 3/4 down her back, but shrinks back up into curls when it dries.

 

Enna

Sweetpea has been saying a lot more words nowadays. And one of them is her name. While we named her Sienna, she likes to go by Enna. It’s so adorable and I could hear her say her name over and over again in her sweet voice.

Officially a Catholic Girl…

Sienna was  baptized on Sunday, February 19, 2012 at St. Thomas More Church in Irvine. She looked and behaved so beautifully. Since she thinks she’s a big girl now, she insisted on sitting in her own seat and not on someone’s lap. I thought she would cry when the Deacon poured holy water on her, and nope she really didn’t mind the first two pourings, but I think the 3^rd (yes, 3^rd) began to bother her. She, the Deacon and I were pretty soaked by then, luckily the church provided towels! Her godfather is my wonderful brother, Hector and I’m delighted he accepted the offer. Here are several pictures of the Sweetpea on her big day.

Splitsville

I snapped this picture while we were watching Entertainment Tonight. This was Sienna's reaction when they were talking about Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries' divorce...I kid you not. I think she really thought they would last...ha ha ha.

Funny Face

Even though Sweetpea can’t express herself with words just yet, she seems to understand everything. She is so playful and loves to make us all laugh. One of the amusing things she does is her “funny face”. Ask her to show you her “funny face” and this is what you’ll see…

Kewpie Doll

Shirley Temple…

Remember this picture taken several months ago? Just a couple of little hair antennas, right? Well, it’s gone from this….

...to this in that short span of time!

She went from being a two curl girl to a straight out Shirley Temple! My little Sienna has a headful of beautiful curls. Not sure where she got it from, but it's absolutely adorable. God definitely checked all the “girly” boxes when making this sweet girl! Love her so much!!
